This is a great and important question. After all, it will not do you any good to know what the law of attraction is if you don't know how to put it use to help you achieve success in your life. Once you have mastered the fundamentals of the law of attraction you will be able to apply it to any aspect of your life.
1) The first step in using the law of attraction to become successfull is to accept responsibility for all that has happened in your life, both the good things AND the bad things. This often is the hardest part of achieving success with manifestation because we all have been taught since childhood to believe that our environment contributes the biggest part towards the circumstances in which we now find ourselves. It’s very difficult to accept the responsibility and acknowledging the fact that your environment was not the main contributing factor - in most cases you will have no one to blame events on but yourself.
In order to move past these events in your like you must take the time to write down all of the major events in your life (remember - both good and bad events). Leave plenty of room underneath in between one. Next go back and review each events carefully. Write down how you felt at the time they happened, how you felt before they happened and which events had beforehand. The chances are that you will find that events occurring in your favor occurred at times when you had a positive attitude and other factors in your life were going right. On the other hand, bad events that occurred probably happened when other events in your life which caused you to have a negative outlook. Is it a coincidence?
2) Once you have accepted that you are responsible for your own fate you can then go one step further and determine what it is about your life that you would like to change. Would you like a new job? Or to move to a new house? Enter into a relationship?
Identify what you wish to achieve and write them all down. Display the list in a prominent place because constantly being able to view your targets will help to keep you on track.
Effectively with the creation of your 'wants' list you are requesting the universe to give you them. Take some time to think about this so that it is embedded firmly in your mind, and keep your goals very specific; making a goal too large or too general will most likely mean that you won't be able to achieve it because you will be too busy worrying about how you are going to do it.
3) Adjust your thoughts so that they are all positive. Act and feel as that you are confident that the end results you are hoping for are going to happen. This is a critical part of the law of attraction. It's easy to allow your mind to begin to think about the difficulties which you may encounter when trying to reach your goals. This will make your vibrations negative and will work against you instead of with you.
4) Accept that it will happen. Many times your subconscious mind is your biggest stumbling block; you will be trying to convince your conscious mind that something could happen when at the same time your subconscious is picking out all the reasons why it won't work. To help yourself overcome this stumbling block and have complete belief that you'll be able to effect changes in your life you should look again at the piece of paper which has written your goals on and attempt to write them in terms that will help both your mind and body to accept them as fact. It's best to you write these statements using the third person instead of the first; it is often difficult for the mind to accept anything as fact when it contains terms as I, me or my. For example, if you're aiming to get a new job you could say, “There are million of people every year who find new jobs which make them happy.” If you are seeking to enter a relationship you could say to yourself, “Millions of people all over the world have found their soul mate and who now have successful established relationships”. The purpose of writing these statements is to clear the negative vibes and doubts from your mind. If you're unable to accept the outcome as fact your then subconscious mind is going to think of a different outcome, and it is going to be this outcome that your mind and body will focus on; and this outcome will be the one that will becomes reality and you will walk away completely certain that the law of attraction is completely false.
